Deception

My prediction is that global warming hype will wear off sooner rather then later. Already “global warming” is being dropped in favour of “climate change”. You see that way even when it is cold you can blame our emissions.

Droughts are ending, seas are falling and I’m cold. Soon enough people will start to see through the hype from the main stream media and scientific discoveries made after 2000 will start to be given more weight.

The government knows opinion is starting to change. Why else would they use my money to run advertisements every night on TV warning that the climate is changing and it’s our fault. Their platform is built partly on this issue.

What will happen next will be a gradual change to the reasons why we are cutting emissions. It will be more about saving resources for our children. Preventing illness by reducing pollution, etc etc.

Similarily the reasons for invading Iraq shifted from a search for weapons of mass destruction to liberation of a people from their dictator.

Just like Iraq people won’t really care that they went to war with the climate based on lies. Just as long as other excuses can be found to justify it.
